Here’s another post about paint! So, I showed you what the home looked like before painting, I told you about choosing colors, and I’ve already revealed one room, now it’s time to show you another.
I wanted a lighter, neutral-grey for the living room so that we could add colorful accents like throw pillows, rugs, and artwork. We went with Perfect Taupe and I am not disappointed. It’s such a versatile color: in bright light it’s lighter and more tan, in dim lighting it’s a bit darker and more grey.
As you can see, we haven’t done much as far as those colorful accents are concerned, but we’ll get there. I’d love to see some bright blues, greens, and yellows maybe. I’m in the process of looking for a tall bookcase to house all of those books [yes, all of those boxes are books!] I would also like to find a nice patterned rug and some shelves for the wall behind the television. All in good time! Thankfully, I’m finally starting to feel well enough to start tackling some projects again.
So, what do you think? Are you a fan of taupe, or have you tried it in your own home? I’d love to hear your stories! xoxo – Molls
